Call for free from the app and book your ride
Tap “Call & Ride” (« اتصل واطلب ») on the CarApp home screen to reach the service centre for free, with no phone credit needed, and they book the ride for you.
- No need to explain where you are: the app sends your location automatically, so the driver knows exactly where to find you.
- Just say your destination and we handle the rest.
- Follow the driver on the map, and call them or share your trip from the same screen.

Want someone to visit you, or to get to a specific place? With Alfani in the CarApp app you share the place as a link, and their ride is booked with one tap.
- Choose the place: your current location, a place from your saved list, or a search.

- They tap the link: the CarApp app opens and a ride is booked from where they are to the place you shared. If they don’t have the app, the link takes them to the right store for their phone to download it first.

How do I book a taxi in Nouakchott?
Download the CarApp app from the App Store or Google Play and sign up with your phone number. Set your destination by voice message, from your recent places, by typing or on the map. Then choose a category and confirm the price: your request is sent right away and you can follow the car on the map. You can also tap “Call & Ride” to call the service centre for free from the app; your location is sent automatically and you just say where you’re going.
How much does a ride cost in Nouakchott?
